Crochet monster

It's Easter and my little girl has the chickenpox. So our Easter vacation is cancelled. She gets this big Easter kinder egg. With a huge version of the normal yellow plastic egg inside. I have made little crochet Easter eggs all week. So I'm thinking that I must use this egg for something fun to cheer up my little girl.
My husband gets this great idea that insted of making an Easter egg out of it I could make a chickenpox go away monster. So I grab my hook and this is what I came up with. I think it turned out pretty great.

If you don't have this type of egg you can just sew the two halves together and stuff the body. Then it can't open but it will still be cute and look like it has a mouth.
